Bethel Prayer Requests

Bethel Contact Update

During our time away from Bethel, we as a church want to continue to pray for each other. If you have a prayer request you would like to add to our list, simply click here to fill out a brief card. Your request will be passed along to our staff.

*We can not post prayer request lists to the website or social media for legal reasons. If you would like a copy please contact the church office to have a copy sent to you.
Church Family, during this uncertain time, we are working hard to stay in contact with you by any means necessary. However, we are noticing we do not have up to date contact info for everyone.

We are asking all regular attenders of Bethel Baptist Church over the age of 18, member or not, to fill out this short connect card. If you are married, husband and wife need to fill out separate cards.

Thank you in advance for helping us with this.

From the Pastor's Desk

Have you recently realized there’s trouble out there! As a matter of fact, you probably don’t sleep as well as you once did.
- You don’t laugh as often
- You don’t enjoy the sun, especially with all the rain we’ve had
- You don’t whistle as you walk, a little down on your joy

And when others do, you ask yourself, “haven’t you watched the news and heard the reports and seem what’s going on.” Fear screams what’s next, get out! Anxiety grips us and created doom and gloom. Anxiety says, never walk in the grass barefoot again. There might be a snake…somewhere. When you are gripped by fear and anxiety turn in your Bible to Psalms 37:1-8. David reminds to fret not (don’t get all worked up), trust in the Lord, delight yourself in the Lord, commit your way unto the Lord, rest in the Lord, wait patiently and cease from anger.
- Get a good night’s rest
- Laugh again
- Enjoy the sun
- Whistle a song with a fresh new step

Connection Sundays.

Every 5 weeks throughout 2020 we are going to set aside a PM service to spend time connecting. A chance for us at Bethel to get to know each other better. Whether that be through a Soup & Sandwich Fellowship, a Church Game Night, or Movie Night, we want to spend time with you fellowshipping, with a little laughter along the way. Stay tuned for our next Connection Sunday announcement.
